Wu Shengli, male, Han Nationality, is a native of Wuqiao County, Hebei Province. He was born in 1945, and joined the PLA in 1964. He was admitted as student to PLA Institute of Surveying and Mapping in 1964. After graduated from college, he had severed in Navy for more than 40 years. In 2004, he was promoted as vice chief of the General Staff, and became navy commander in 2006. He was Rear Admiral in 1994, Vice Admiral in 2003 and is Admiral since 2007. He was a Member of the 17th CPC Central Committee, a member of 17th CPC Central Military Commission.
